Updated on 04/02/2009 |
Overeaters Anonymous is a self-help group for anyone who has a problem with food and/or body image.
It is based on Alcoholics Anonymous and follows a 12 step program of recovery.
Many people come to OA expecting diets, weigh-ins and and lectures on food and weight but, to their surprise, they find that OA offers none of these things.
It is a fellowship of men and women who meet to share their experience, strength and hope with one another in order that they may solve their common problem.and help those who still suffer to recover from compulsive overeating, anorexia or bulimia
